A youth, family, and community empowerment center comprised of competent staff and volunteers focusing on youth development, positive youth and family engagement, and community stakeholder relations with a special focus on education, and social and public safety alternatives.

 

VISION

A safe and resourceful community where residents are motivated to thrive and excel to their greatest potential.

 

 

MISSION

C.H.A.N.G.E.S is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children and families. We're committed to working together with stakeholders to create positive change in our communities and society.

 

 

PHILOSOPHY

C.H.A.N.G.E.S., Inc., believes that all children share a common theme of desiring to lead positive, productive lives, when provided the necessary educational opportunities and resources to support all stages of development and challenges.

Meet the dedicated staff at CHANGES who are making a difference in the lives of our South LA community.

Crystal Pitts

Executive Director

Crystal is the co-founder of CHANGES along with her brother Jeorald Pitts. She is a lifelong resident of the South LA Community, and a true activist dedicated to her community. She is an active member of First5LA, Best Start West-Athens Leadership Committee, and holds a Non-Violent Conflict Resolution Certificate through the PCIT Peace Program.

Tiffany Fantroy

Operations Manager

Tiffany has a strong foundation in the banking industry, and has developed strong business acumen through her work at Wells Fargo for over 10 years. She has mentored young women facing tough socioeconomic circumstances and continues to focus on empowering teen mothers develop self-esteem and learn financial management skills.

Marcus Thomas

Nutrition Program Manager

Marcus Thomas has been an asset to the CHANGES team through his leadership in the Nutrition program. Additionally, he provides expertise and support for all programs hosted through CHANGES.
